Stand Alone Pre-Heat Solutions / Radiant Hot Plate SMD-6000

Radiant Hot Plate SMD-6000

Overview

The Radiant Hot Plate 8100-6000 has been engineered to provide an efficient High Mass, Digitally Controlled, Direct Radiant Energy source for In Process and Off-Line preheat and bake requirements of electronic components and boards. It is also suitable for any additional electronic or non-electronic application which requires accurate and consistent temperature control. Uses include: Preheat, burn in, reflow, pull test and many more!

Digital Control

A PID digital Close Loop Programmable Controller measures the temperature feed back via a "J" type thermocouple. Temperature settings may be calibrated and stored within the controller and once set, will be maintained to ± 2° F.

Large Area Stability

The Radiant Hot Plate is entirely non-static generating and provides 144 sq. inches of cast aluminum, selected to ensure stability of performance and close tolerance over the surface of the Top Plate. Size is critical in providing an efficient and capable thermal mass, when working with a preheat application for large PCBs, and it is also useful in baking applications involving a quantity of components.

Thermal Imaging Surface

Safety First

Four (4) Heat Shield Guards are provided to protect the user. The Digital Controller is preset to a maximum of 350°F (176°C), but can be increased upon request. It is recommended that the Hot Plate be placed in a zoned area and a "Caution" notice appointed that a hot surface is present.
